According to information shared by Jason Schreier, a reliable figure in the industry, PlayStation may have decided to shut down Dark Outlaw Games. While there is no official confirmation yet, leaks indicate that the studio has ceased operations, affecting approximately 50 employees.

This development is particularly noteworthy because the studio is so new. Dark Outlaw Games was founded only last year and announced with high expectations. The fact that it was led by an experienced name like Jason Blundell further increased confidence in the project.

The closure rumors aren’t limited to this studio. According to the same reports, PlayStation is also downsizing its mobile gaming division.
