In The Grey was originally planned for release last year. However, due to changes in the distribution process, the film was removed from Lionsgate’s schedule. Black Bear later acquired the distribution rights, and the film’s new release date has been finalized. In The Grey is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 15th.
