The Only Requirement to Play GTA 6 for Free is to Have a Baby

As the countdown continues for Rockstar’s highly anticipated game GTA 6, a Norwegian retailer has launched a noteworthy promotion. According to the campaign, those who have a baby on the game’s release day will receive GTA 6 for free. This announcement quickly spread on social media and became a trending topic.

GTA 6 Campaign Launched in Norway

In a statement by the Norwegian store Komplett, it was stated that families whose babies are born on November 19th, the planned release date of GTA 6, will receive the game for free. It was specifically emphasized that the campaign does not require any specific name. In other words, parents are not obligated to name their children after characters from the game.

This unusual promotion is reminiscent of a similar campaign by Bethesda in the past. In 2011, a baby born on the same day as Skyrim’s release was given a free game, provided the child was named “Dovahkiin.” The GTA 6 campaign, however, doesn’t have this additional condition.

Of course, this campaign is only valid in Norway and is conditional on the game’s planned release date. While GTA 6 is scheduled to be released on November 19th, some players are cautious due to past delays.

This campaign for GTA 6 is seen as a fun marketing ploy. While having a baby to get the game for free is a serious decision, it could be an interesting surprise for families in Norway who are already planning for this.
