CD Projekt RED has confirmed the actor for Ciri, the protagonist of The Witcher 4.

The Witcher 4 was recently revealed at The Game Awards with an epic cinematic trailer. Trailer confirmed that Ciri will be the protagonist of The Witcher 4. While she has big boots to fill in the form of Geralt of Rivia, her role in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was lauded, and with Geralt’s story largely wrapped up in the last game, there’s no reason why Ciri can’t prove to be the perfect protagonist to carry The Witcher 4.
In a statement to TheGamer, CD Projekt RED confirmed that The Witcher 4’s version of Ciri will be played by Ciara Berkely, stating that she is “a talented actress who impressed us with her enthusiasm and vocal acting skills, and in this trailer we believe she truly brought Ciri to life in a way that is both faithful to the character and exciting for fans of the series.” The studio also clarified to TheGamer that she would be playing the character in the full game, too, and not just the trailer as the statement kind of implies.
The Witcher 4 currently doesn’t have any certain release date yet, but recent news revealed that the game is already finished and only need final touches. We will follow the news from the developer and hope to get the best version of The Witcher 4.
