This Is How Naughty Dog Prevents Leaks
Naughty Dog is using unusual methods against leaks for its new project Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. The statements of Stephen A. Chang, who played the character Jesse in The Last of Us Part 2, reveal how secretive the developer is keeping the project. Chang confirmed that he has started working on the project, but stated that he does not have much information about the game.
Naughty Dog Even Gives Pieces to Intergalactic Players
Stephen A. Chang announced that he has started filming for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. However, according to the actor, Naughty Dog only gives certain parts of the script, and the shootings are done piece by piece over these parts. In fact, the scenes are sometimes not even presented in chronological order. Chang said the following about this situation, “I am currently waiting for a new script, just like everyone else, I am trying to put the pieces together.”
Someone from the actor’s close circle is also involved in the project, but he doesn’t know what he’s working on. Chang stated that this person asked him, “Is this The Last of Us Part 3?” This approach shows how much Naughty Dog cares about preventing leaks by providing minimal information to both its employees and players.
Chang also stated that he was able to see the game’s first trailer only a week before players, and how controlled the studio is in this regard. The development team seems to have tightened the security measures it took during The Last of Us Part 2 on this project.
Stephen A. Chang raised expectations for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet by saying, “This will be Naughty Dog’s next big game.” The story the studio is offering in this project and what kind of experience it is preparing remain a mystery. While it is known that Naughty Dog has been working on an unnamed project for three years, details about this new game are expected to become clear over time.
