New Venom: Last Dance TV Spot Released
Venom: The Last Dance TV spot shows the symbiote infecting fish and frogs this time. The Venom Frog in particular stands out for its resemblance to Thor Frog, another popular character among Marvel fans, who appears in Loki. Presenting these creatures as an unnatural comedy element in the movie strengthens the absurd side of the Venom series. Sony seems to have fully captured the tone of the third movie by developing its marketing strategy in this direction.
The first two Venom movies were a huge success at the box office, grossing over $1.3 billion in total. However, the success of the series was not overshadowed by other Sony projects such as Morbius and Madame Web that came out around the same time. The character of Eddie Brock, played by Tom Hardy, had a brief cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home, showing once again that he is part of this universe with a brief cameo.
Tom Hardy’s Venom Journey
The third movie in the Venom franchise will be the last time Tom Hardy brings the character to life. When talking about the trilogy, Hardy emphasized that each film builds on the success of the previous one and that each film should be made with the last film in mind. Venom: The Last Dance will be Hardy’s farewell to the character, but the actor says he is approaching the final movie in the series with great excitement.
Kelly Marcel, who wrote the screenplay and directed the movie, was also involved in the first two Venom movies. The production team includes experienced names such as Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker. This strong cast is determined to complete the series finale in a spectacular way.
