According to a partial list leaked for the first wave, Xbox Game Pass users will have access to the following games in August:
- Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato – 6 August – Action / Platform
- Creatures of Ava – 7 August – Action / RPG
- Crash N Sane Trilogy – 8 August – Platform
- Mafia: Definitive Edition – 13 August – Action / Adventure
- Wargrove 2 – 15 August – Strategy / Tactic
- Atlas Fallen – 22 August – Action / RPG
This list highlights well-known games such as Crash N Sane Trilogy and Mafia: Definitive Edition (the release of Mafia: Definitive Edition was previously announced). Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake of the 2002 Mafia game and takes players to the fictional city of Lost Heaven in 1930s Illinois. Players follow the story of Tommy Angelo, part of the Salieri crime family. The game features improved mission dynamics and the addition of motorcycles.
Crash N Sane Trilogy is a 2017 compilation of platform games developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. This package includes remakes of the first three games in the Crash Bandicoot series: Crash Bandicoot (1996), Cortex Strikes Back (1997) and Warped (1998). Originally released for PlayStation 4, the game was later ported to Nintendo Switch, Windows and Xbox One.
