1194 More Games Removed from PlayStation Store

At the center of this new removal wave is Webnetic, a publisher with a large number of games on the PlayStation Store. Previous investigations indicated that the publisher was one of the companies with the most games on the store. Now, it has been announced that Webnetic’s process on the PlayStation side will end and its games will be removed from the store. The publisher is urging players to take one last look at the games, while stating that it will continue its operations on Xbox, Nintendo, and Steam.
This development appears to be a continuation of PlayStation’s store cleanup efforts throughout the year. Previously, over 1000 games were removed from the store, followed by similar steps in different waves. This time, the number stands at 1194 games. It seems Sony is becoming more selective, particularly regarding content that reduces visibility in the store, damages the perception of quality, and makes it difficult for players to find the titles they are looking for.
