A Gamer, Driven Crazy by the Anticipation for GTA 6, Counted All the Trees in the Game One by One
The GTA 6 community, which has been waiting for a new trailer or concrete development for months, has become accustomed to meticulously examining every detail. But this time, things have truly reached another level. Because one player decided to take a single frame from the game’s trailer and count each tree in it individually.
The GTA 6 Anticipation Takes Players to Interesting Places
This work, shared on Reddit, clearly shows how much anticipation has grown around GTA 6. The player took the scene from the trailer, enlarged it in Photoshop, and marked each tree individually. After manually counting the details in the foreground, he performed a pixel-by-pixel analysis of the dense areas in the background to make an estimated calculation.
The result is truly interesting: over 14,000 trees. Yes, you read that right. It’s believed that there’s this much dense vegetation in a single square. This naturally leads to different interpretations of the game’s map detail.
One of the conclusions the player reached is on the technical side. Based on this density, it’s inferred that Rockstar’s RAGE engine has significantly improved compared to previous games. Especially after a visually strong game like Red Dead Redemption 2, such a leap raises expectations even higher.
Of course, these kinds of analyses are entirely based on player opinion and have no official confirmation. But honestly, the fact that people have reached this point while waiting for GTA 6 is a story in itself. It seems that until Rockstar shares something new, players will continue to create their own content.
