Battlefield 6 Vehicles Will Be Improved Through Special Testing

Battlefield 6 has been trying to recover since its release, but the issue of vehicle balance, in particular, continues to frustrate players. Despite seasonal updates, tanks, armored vehicles, and light vehicles haven’t had the expected impact. DICE says it will now address this problem directly. It seems the next focus for Battlefield 6 is clear: vehicles.

Battlefield 6 Vehicle Issues Labs Begin

According to a statement from DICE, the team has been reviewing feedback, particularly regarding light vehicles and overall vehicle durability. Players have long argued that vehicles have become “death traps.” Driving a tank onto the map doesn’t feel as threatening as it used to; armored vehicles that are knocked down by a few rockets weaken the dynamics of the battlefield.

Battlefield 6 Vehicles Will Be Improved Through Special Testing

Kit Eklöf from the studio confirmed in an interview that a special Battlefield Labs test will be conducted for vehicles. This test will focus on vehicle durability and balance packs. The goal is to find a balance where vehicles are neither excessively powerful nor completely vulnerable – a middle ground that satisfies both infantry and vehicle players.

Currently, there’s a perception that infantry is too powerful. Even main battle tanks can be easily taken down with a few organized maneuvers, undermining the classic “area dominance” feel of the series. In the Battlefield experience, a tank’s advance should truly create pressure on the player. This effect has been significantly weakened in the latest game.

The planned Labs process for Battlefield 6 is seen as a small but critical step. If DICE can correctly adjust vehicle balance, the game’s core combat dynamics could regain strength. Now, all eyes are on the test results and how player feedback is truly implemented.
