The game has recently completed development and reached gold status. The newly released video highlights the various boss battles that players will encounter throughout the adventure and the sense of grand scale that these battles create. This project stands out for its size and ambitious nature and is eagerly awaited by players.

Black Myth: Wukong is based on one of the classics of Chinese literature, “Journey to the West”. Players control the character known as “Hero Monkey” and embark on a challenging journey to discover a mysterious truth from the past. Guiding a hero equipped with magical powers, transformations and various equipment, players will face countless enemies and master different wand techniques.

The game will feature full ray tracing support and many graphical details such as water caustics, reflections, refractions, exterior and interior lighting. These effects are also highlighted in the new trailer. Black Myth: Wukong will be released on August 20, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Steam, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
