Blood of Dawnwalker Gameplay Shared
Rebel Wolves has shared the first long gameplay video for its new RPG project Blood of Dawnwalker, with its strong team of former CD Projekt Red developers. This 20-minute video showcases the game in its pre-beta phase, while providing important clues about both the story and mechanics. Although the vampire-themed open-world experience set in Medieval Europe may seem like a parkour-mode version of The Witcher 3 to many players, the developers aim to expand on familiar formulas with different touches.
What Does Blood of Dawnwalker Gameplay Offer?
Blood of Dawnwalker takes players to 14th-century Europe, offering a dark story set in lands devastated by the Black Death and endless wars. In this chaotic environment, vampires emerge from centuries-long shadows and step onto the scene for power. The game deals with the difficult decisions that the main character Coen will make between preserving his humanity and saving his family.
In the shared gameplay video, the developers detail Coen’s vampire abilities, combat system, and parkour mechanics. Players will be able to climb buildings, jump from rooftops to explore, and hunt enemies from the shadows thanks to their vampire claws. This vertical exploration system aims to add a new mobility to the game’s open world.
Another striking element in the video is that the combat mechanics are fast and fluid. Sword and claw combinations require different strategies against different types of enemies. In addition, the ties established with dark powers give players powerful but costly abilities. This takes Blood of Dawnwalker from being just a classic action RPG and offers a dark, moral story experience.
Blood of Dawnwalker, whose release date has not yet been announced, has already entered the radar of RPG lovers with its parkour mechanics, gothic atmosphere, and structure inspired by The Witcher 3. Rebel Wolves states that it will continue to share more details as the development process progresses. New videos and news about the game are eagerly awaited.
