CD Projekt Red Founders Mentioned in Czech Murder Investigation

CD Projekt Red, one of the most renowned studios in the gaming world, is making headlines this time not for its games, but for a different reason. According to a new report, CD Projekt Red founders Marcin Iwinski and Michal Kicinski are among those named in a reopened death investigation in the Czech Republic.

CD Projekt Red Founders Mentioned in Investigation File

According to a report published by Poland-based Onet, the case dates back to 2018. The file concerning the death of a 54-year-old woman in the Janov region of the Czech Republic has been reopened due to newly discovered evidence. The Polish prosecutor’s office, which is conducting the investigation, states that some property owners in the area where the incident occurred are also named in the file.

The report states that Michal Kicinski is a co-owner of a farm in the Janov region. It claims that shamanic rituals were occasionally held at this farm, and that a person named Bartosz B. organized these events. The report also alleges that Kicinski attended some of these ceremonies and was in contact with the organizer.

Meanwhile, it is stated that Marcin Iwinski also purchased another farm in the same region, where ayahuasca ceremonies were allegedly held. Ayahuasca is known as a psychedelic mixture with strong hallucinogenic effects, and is considered illegal in many countries.

Authorities emphasize that there is currently no direct evidence linking the founders of CD Projekt Red to the incident. According to the report, simply owning property does not automatically make them suspects. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities plan to re-examine the circumstances surrounding the event.
