Valentin Voda is positioned as one of the rare figures in the Code Vein 2 universe who questions the bloodline-based order. His dialogue in the trailer clearly shows his distance from the traditional Revenant concept and his desire to change this order. The game’s overall narrative takes place in a future where humanity and the Revenants are on the brink of extinction. With the emergence of the mysterious threat Luna Rapacis, many Revenants lose control and transform into creatures called “Horrors.” Players, in the role of a Revenant Hunter, travel back in time with the enigmatic character Lou, attempting to change the root causes of this collapse. Valentin Voda emerges as a key figure whose fate can be altered in this process.
In terms of gameplay, Code Vein 2 returns with improved core systems from the first game.
