Empire of Sin Returns After Five Years
Empire of Sin, which was once highly anticipated by mob management simulation enthusiasts, disappeared for a long time after a poor launch. However, a surprise news that came five years later brought the game back to the agenda. The new expansion pack, Hunt for Aurora, promises new excitement to old fans.
Empire of Sin Renews Hopes with Hunt for Aurora
Even though Empire of Sin was disappointing with its problematic launch in 2020, it had a strong publisher like Paradox and an experienced studio like Romero Games behind it. However, the expected updates did not come, and the game was practically abandoned after the Precinct Patch released in 2021. The project, which has been silent for years, is coming back to life with the Hunt for Aurora expansion.
This new expansion sends players on the streets of Chicago with British mafia leader Robin Kray and his partner Sylvia Taylor in pursuit of the Aurora diamond. The new Vanguard gangster class stands out with its structure specializing in close combat. In addition, the Dance Club venue offers a new way to expand your empire. A loyal dog friend, Lucky Companion, and new weapon options are also among the highlights of the package.
Hunt for Aurora is also different in that it was developed by Moonmana. Romero Games has withdrawn from the project. Moonmana’s previous pirate-themed games make expectations for this new package cautious. However, the richness of content and the addition of 14 new quest chains promise fans new stories and strategies.
There are currently not many comments on Steam and the player count is low. However, after a long wait, this quiet return of Empire of Sin may draw old players back to the dark streets of Chicago. Whether it will meet the expectations of players who have been waiting for a second expansion for years remains to be seen.
