Months before its release, a new gameplay video has been released, revealing the first details about Forza Horizon 6’s open-world events and progression system.
Forza Horizon 6 Unveils Open-World Events
The newly released gameplay footage shows, for the first time in detail, the activities that can be done in Forza Horizon 6’s open world. It is stated that race types such as Time Attack and Drag Race are directly integrated into the open-world map. Instead of navigating through menus, players will be able to start these events by going directly to the race point on the map.
Playground Games also shared some new information about the game’s progression system. In Forza Horizon 6, Horizon Festival events will play a significant role in player progression. As players complete festival races, they will be able to unlock new content and access larger events.
The Wristband system will also be one of the progression mechanics. Through this system, players will reach new wristband levels as they achieve success in races, giving them the opportunity to participate in more challenging events. Thus, the game’s career structure aims to offer a clearer sense of progression.
Beyond this, the game will reward not only winning races but also exploring the open world. Freely roaming the map, participating in events, or interacting with different activities will earn players various rewards.
