InZOI Revealed More Details About The Game
Publisher Krafton has announced that InZOI will have a $40 price tag. Recent early access showcase also revealed post launch content roadmap for InZOI.
InZOI Details Revealed
The first ever game from South Korea based inZOI Studio garnered some pre release attention for being a life sim in the vein of The Sims but with realistic graphics. InZOI has been in full production since early 2023 and is presently targeting a 2025 release.
Krafton recently hosted an extended online showcase that revealed many new details about its Sims competitor, including its early access release date: March 28. The publisher also committed to launching a host of free DLC throughout the game’s early access period. The first of these packs is called Kucingku Cat Island, which inZOI Studio plans to release in August 2025. Since International Cat Day is on August 8, that seems like as good of a date as any for the DLC to materialize. Kucingku is the name of a new city that the upcoming free update will add to InZOI. The DLC location was inspired by Southeast Asia, as underlined by its very name, which is an Indonesian and Malay term meaning “my cat.”
The game’s second big early access update is planned for sometime between August and late September 2025. This release will introduce a number of new InZOI features, including the so-called “ghost play.” The developers previously described this addition as a system that forces Zois who die without enough karma points to remain part of the in-game world until they have redeemed themselves. Swimming and pools are also coming as part of this patch, together with more resources for Edit City and an AI-powered Build Mode assistant. Moreover, the game’s second update will introduce freelancer jobs and improvements to the parenting system, in addition to refining how skills and text messages work.
The third InZOI update is currently planned for release sometime between October and December 2025. This content drop will introduce a family tree and support for remapping hotkeys. The ability to adjust object sizes in Build Mode will also be included, together with new furniture, mod updates, and UI improvements, as well as some changes to the Create a Zoi mode.
While the early access version of InZOI will be a PC exclusive, the life sim is also planned to eventually debut on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
