Kingdom Come 2 Player Luke Dale Switched to Twitch After Failing to Find a Job

Luke Dale, a Kingdom Come player who reached a wide audience with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, made noteworthy statements about his career. Dale, who brought the character of Sir Hans Capon to life in the series, stated that the game’s popularity among millions of players didn’t bring him the gaming opportunities he expected. Instead, Twitch streaming seems to have opened an unexpectedly powerful door for him.

Kingdom Come Star Finds New Audience on Twitch

Luke Dale portrayed Sir Hans Capon in both the first game and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Hans, who became a troubled nobleman, then a close friend, and depending on the player’s choice, a romantic partner in Henry’s story, became one of the most beloved characters in the series. Dale’s performance was also very positively received by players.

Despite this success, Dale stated that it hasn’t translated into new opportunities in the gaming world. He said that even though he starred in a game like Kingdom Come 2, which reached millions of viewers, the industry hasn’t opened new doors for him. While emphasizing that Warhorse Studios has always supported him, Dale noted that the gaming and acting industry in general hasn’t shown him the same level of interest.

During this period, Dale turned to Twitch streaming under the name LukeDaleLive and quickly built a strong community. He initially streamed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, then completed titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring. He also did a sponsored stream for Starfield. His channel reaching over 70,000 subscribers shows that this decision was the right step for him.

Dale says he continues to participate in acting auditions but no longer wants to rely solely on that field. He says he greatly enjoys Twitch streaming, where he’s been able to build his own audience, and another dream of his is to run a bar in Prague. While Warhorse is known to be working on a new Kingdom Come adventure, fans are also wondering about the possibility of seeing Hans Capon again in the future.
