League of Legends Patch 26.7 Preview Released
Expectations are quite balanced in League of Legends ahead of the new patch. This time, Riot Games plans to avoid major changes, maintaining the current meta with small but effective adjustments. Interventions, particularly regarding champion balance and role variety, seem likely to subtly impact the overall flow of the game.
What Changes Does League of Legends Patch 26.7 Bring?
With patch 26.7, some champions receive buffs, while some popular picks are nerfed. Cassiopeia, Kalista, and Rell stand out in terms of buffs. Cassiopeia’s buff is particularly linked to increasing mid-lane and jungler diversity. The Kalista and Rell nerfs aim to reshape the bottom lane balance.
The nerf list is a bit longer. Graves, Karma, Nami, Ornn, Singed, and Veigar are among the champions to be weakened in this patch. Riot specifically wants to reduce the impact of ranged supports on the game. At the same time, they aim to control long-standing strong picks like Graves and Ornn.
One of the most notable aspects of the patch is the work done on Shyvana. Riot is preparing new adjustments for the champion, who still hasn’t reached the desired level after her rework. The goal is to increase her playability in different roles while also providing players with more counter-playing opportunities.
Additionally, a small bug fix is on the way due to an unexpected interaction discovered between Shyvana and Sylas. Riot continues to maintain the competitive balance of the game by quickly resolving such bugs.
