Looks Like Two Baldur’s Gate Games Will be Available at Xbox Game Pass
Looks like Xbox Game Pass will be adding Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2 Enhanced Edition to the library.
Will Old Baldur’s Gate Games Will be Available at Xbox Game Pass?
Last month, Grand Theft Auto 5’s departure from Game Pass was similarly leaked due to accidental notifications being sent to some users. Unfortunately for fans who still haven’t purchased a copy of GTA 5, this news has since been confirmed, and GTA 5 is leaving the service on January 5th. Based on this news, there is reason to believe that this recent leak is accurate, and Xbox Game Pass will likely receive two more classic games in the near future.
Trueachievements reported that it received a notification that read “Rediscover 2 RPG Classics” … “Play Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 with Game Pass.” Clicking the notification brought the user to the store page for Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition, which are sold together as a bundle.
The series’ first two games were released in 1998 and 2000, so while they’re not the most modern of RPGs, the enhanced editions brought plenty of upgrades. These updates implemented support for high resolution widescreen displays, crossplay between different platforms, UI upgrades, hundreds of bug fixes and improvements, additional story content, and more.
For people who is hoping to get Baldur’s Gate 3 at Xbox Game Pass, recently Larian Studios’ CEO confirmed that there are no plans to bring Baldur’s Gate 3 to Game Pass anytime soon. In the meantime classic Baldur’s Gate fans can buy Xbox Game Pass and try the franchise from the classic roots.

Some fans say that other Baldur’s Gate games might be confusing for new players. Aside from other games, Baldur’s Gate 3 is friendly game for new players as a DnD style.
Players who played Baldur’s Gate 3 and want to try other BG games can try that out at Xbox Game Pass if that information is real. We are looking forward to see official announcement.
