The new trailer features a significant interaction between Logan and Jean Grey. Jean, known as Phoenix, will stand alongside Wolverine in the fight to protect the mutants. The closeness between the two characters has been frequently explored in Marvel stories, and their complex relationship with Cyclops is also well-known. While it’s not yet clear to what extent the game will leverage this past, the trailer suggests that Jean Grey will not be just a short-lived supporting character.

This is the second trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine in a week. The previous video focused on the game’s cinematic narrative and Logan’s anti-hero persona. The project was announced several years ago, but development was hampered following a large-scale data leak targeting Insomniac Games. Despite this, the game remains one of the most anticipated titles for PlayStation 5.
Marvel’s Wolverine will be released on September 15, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and will also be available in a physical version. Pre-orders have already begun.
