More than 60 People Join CD Projekt Red Team

CD Projekt Red has been making headlines recently with its The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2 projects. The studio is undergoing rapid growth not only in game development but also in its organizational structure. Dozens of new developers have joined the team, further increasing interest in the company’s upcoming projects.

CD Projekt Red Strengthens Its Staff

In its latest report, CD Projekt Red announced that its total employee count has reached 799. A total of 69 new employees joined the studio between April 30 and July 31, 2025. This increase is considered a significant step forward for the company, supporting both the pace of development on current projects and its long-term goals.

The Witcher 4 remains the company’s top priority. The team size has increased from 422 to 444 people, with more than half of the studio’s total resources dedicated to this project. This increase suggests that the game’s development is accelerating and that new information may be shared in the near future.

There’s also been notable progress for Cyberpunk 2. The number of developers working on the project has increased from 96 to 116. This indicates that the sequel is now entering a more active production phase. It’s known that player expectations are high this time around, especially after the release of the first game.

A more balanced increase was observed across the studio’s other projects. The Project Sirius team grew from 48 to 51 people, while Project Hadar grew from 19 to 22. Furthermore, the number of employees working on “other projects” increased from 14 to 17. The shared services unit, which handles support areas such as quality control, localization, and data management, increased from 131 to 149 people.
