New Adaptation of Stardew Valley: Wanderstop
The new game tells the story of the fallen warrior Alta. Alta puts down her sword and moves to the city to run a tea shop. But her past still haunts her.
Wanderstop: Alta’s Story
Announced today at Summer Game Fest 2024, Wanderstop is the newest game from Ivy Road Games and is due out later this year in 2024. This is the next project from the developer behind The Stanley Parable, so you can be sure that there will probably be a twist somewhere.
We play as Alta, a fallen warrior who has decided to give up her sword to live a comfortable life running a tea shop. Her daily life consists of managing said tea shop, wandering around the multicolored world just outside her front day, doing other quests and chores, and trying not to be overwhelmed by her past.
It seems that Alta unfortunately has a very hard time letting go of the warrior she used to be. The final moments of Wanderstop’s trailer show Alta struggling to slow down and accept her new life as something good and positive, which is a big and dramatic change for the protagonist.
Wanderstop will be available simultaneously on PC and PS5 when it launches later this year. To stay up to date with all the developments on Ivy Road Games’ new game, be sure to head over to Steam and list Wanderstop as you wish. This game definitely looks like one to keep an eye on in the coming months.
