New Strategy Game Earth vs Mars Announced

Relic Entertainment is preparing to introduce its new turn-based strategy game Earth vs Mars to gamers. The game, which is planned to be released on Steam for PC in the summer of 2025, is about humanity’s struggle against Martian invaders. Players will organize a strategic resistance against Martian technologies by using unique commanders and creative hybrid soldiers to defend the world.

Earth vs Mars Story and Gameplay

Earth vs Mars is about the Martians, who have been kidnapping people and animals for years and collecting their atomic essence, launching a full-scale attack on Earth. Players will fight against the Martians’ advanced flying saucers, gravity tanks and powerful warriors under the leadership of a group of commanders who are Earth’s last hope.

The game’s notable feature is the “Splice-O-Tron” device. This device allows for the creation of hybrid super soldiers by combining human volunteers with animals. For example, unique units such as cheetah-fly for fast attacks, human-rhino for strong defenses, or squirrel-cow for attacks hidden in the shadows can be created.

Relic Entertainment announced that Earth vs Mars will offer 30 hand-crafted missions and a wide range of abilities. Players will be able to shape their playstyle by choosing from commanders with different passive and active abilities. The game will also come with an online multiplayer mode, a match mode, and a map editor that allows you to create customizable maps.

Relic Entertainment CEO Justin Dowdeswell stated that Earth vs Mars adds Relic’s unique touch to the Advance Wars style of gameplay. With this game, the company aims to offer new types of experiences by focusing on smaller-scale indie projects and to become more involved in the gaming world. Earth vs Mars will be published under the Relic Labs label and will bring strategy fans the fight of Earth against the alien invasion.
