Bringing a new breath to the world of portable game consoles, ONEXSUGAR Sugar 1 attracts the attention of gamers with its design and features. Although it looks like a standard console at first glance, the second screen hidden behind the device and the upward-opening design of this screen make the device unique. ONEXSUGAR Sugar 1 offers a Nintendo DS-style experience, combining dual-screen gaming and multitasking functions.
ONEXSUGAR Sugar 1 Technical Details
ONEXSUGAR Sugar 1 makes a difference with the ability to open a second screen behind the screen upwards. This design allows the device to be used as a dual-screen game console. For example, while playing a game on one screen, chat, maps or auxiliary tools can be displayed on the other screen.
The device is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 processor. This eight-core processor offers 30% faster CPU and 28% faster GPU performance compared to the previous generation. However, it is not only the processor of the device that is remarkable, its design is also quite striking. Thanks to the movable structure of the controllers, the device can offer both standard and inverted use.
Offering an ideal platform especially for Nintendo DS-style games, ONEXSUGAR Sugar 1 brings a different approach to portable game consoles. The fact that the second screen can be hidden makes the device more portable and allows users to diversify their gaming experiences.
Although the price and sale date of the device have not yet been announced, the manufacturer One Netbook and design firm SugarCubes plan to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. The promotional videos released ahead of the upcoming launch reveal the unique design and usability of the device.
