Five Years with NVIDIA GeForce NOW

NVIDIA GeForce NOW has come a long way since its beta period, which began in 2015. Since its official launch in 2020, the platform has reached over 20 million users and offered cloud-based gaming to gamers around the world. Offering RTX 4080-equipped servers, the platform promises one of the highest-performance gaming experiences. However, no update has yet been made for the transition to RTX 5080 systems.

In recent months, GeForce NOW has expanded its platform usage area by adding Steam Deck support. NVIDIA announced that it will add a new major game to the platform every week as part of its fifth anniversary celebrations. In February, notable productions such as Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Avowed and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII will meet users.

Although GeForce NOW has a large user base, the platform faces some criticism. In particular, the 100-hour play limit even for paid memberships and the ads shown while waiting in line have drawn backlash among users. NVIDIA stated that it is aware of these criticisms and continues to work to improve its services.

The NVIDIA GeForce NOW team continues to work to further advance technology. The platform, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary, aims to expand its content library with new games and make updates that improve the user experience. In addition, RTX 4080 servers are expected to be updated with more advanced technology.
