Player Stats May Be Reset with the Undisputed Update

Steel City Interactive is preparing to usher in a new era for its boxing game, Undisputed. The development team shared their thoughts on resetting player stats on social media. If there’s enough participation, the studio plans to clear player records with the Championship Edition update, which will be released on October 21st.

Undisputed Players May Be in for a Fresh Start

The development team is working tirelessly to fix long-standing bugs and statistics issues. Players have been experiencing unfair statistics, particularly due to issues like “loss records due to opponents abandoning the match due to a connection error.” This has led the community to demand a reset of all records for months.

In a poll launched by Steel City Interactive on its official X account (formerly Twitter), the majority of players voted in favor of resetting stats. According to the poll, over 80% of participants support this idea. The studio stated that it will implement the players’ request once the total number of votes reaches 5,000.

Undisputed’s Championship Edition, released on October 21st, will also introduce new DLC and several additional pieces of content. This edition will include an updated version of the famous boxer Terence Crawford and four new character packs. However, the community has reacted to the announcement of additional paid content before the game’s technical issues have been resolved.

For players who have long been waiting for a AAA-quality boxing game, Undisputed was seen as a promising step forward. However, technical glitches and unbalanced gameplay have left the game below expectations, and the game aims to regain confidence with this major reset. The Championship Edition update could be a critical turning point for Undisputed, as it addresses both bug fixes and provides a fair start for players.
