PlayStation Announces Strong Lineup for TGS 2025
Tokyo Game Show 2025, one of the most prestigious trade shows in the gaming world, is preparing to open its doors in September. The company officially announced that it will be showcasing two of its major titles at the show.

Ghost of Yotei is the first game PlayStation announced for TGS 2025. Developed by Sucker Punch, the game will be available for players to try for the first time at the event. The game, particularly notable for its atmosphere inspired by Japanese culture, will be released just one week after TGS, on October 2, 2025. This will offer a unique experience for gamers visiting the show.
The second major release of the event is Marvel TOKON: Fighting Souls. Following the attention it garnered at EVO, the fighting game from Arc System Works will reach a much wider audience at TGS 2025. The closed beta will begin on September 6th and will be available exclusively to visitors at the show.
PlayStation, which was absent from TGS between 2020 and 2023, returned last year with major titles like Monster Hunter Wilds and Astro Bot. This year’s lineup has already garnered significant attention, and more games are expected to be announced closer to the show. New trailers for titles like Death Stranding 2: On the Beach are also likely to be released.
TGS 2025, which kicks off on September 25th, will be a major showcase for PlayStation. Whether the company will limit itself to demo presentations or make further announcements is already a matter of debate. In any case, Ghost of Yote and Marvel TOKON are certain to be among the most notable games at the event.
