Rainbow Six Siege Players Victimized Again
According to recent reports, unauthorized interference with Rainbow Six Siege has occurred again. This time, instead of free credits, numerous players have reportedly received bans lasting a full 67 days for “Harassment Offense.” The fact that the ban duration is linked to a well-known joke within the community makes the situation even stranger.
The incident quickly spread on social media, with content creators also posting confirmations. Many players say they discovered they had been banned for extended periods without any explanation upon logging in. This situation further undermines player trust, which has been fragile lately.
The problem isn’t limited to bans. Ubisoft’s status page indicates that Rainbow Six Siege is experiencing unexpected problems across all platforms. Interruptions are reported in matchmaking, the in-game store, and authentication services, with server connections marked as “weakened.”
Players are currently being directed to report issues through the official bug reporting system. The fact that thousands are reporting the same problem suggests it’s a systemic crisis, not an individual one. Ubisoft has yet to release an official statement.
