Red Dead Redemption 2 Has Sold 67 Million Copies
Red Dead Redemption 2 has surpassed 67 million copies sold since its initial release.
New Milestone for Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 serves as a prequel to the first Red Dead Redemption, following the story of Arthur Morgan and his posse during the tail-end of the Wild West era. The game has amassed millions of fans not only for the gameplay, attention to detail, and beautiful visuals, but also for the incredible and poignant story told. As such, it may not come as a big surprise that the title has done so well for itself.
With 67 million copies sold since its release date and over two million copies sold in just three months, Red Dead Redemption 2 is doing quite well for itself. The latter sales figure indicates that the game is still performing well, despite the fact that it’s not receiving any significant updates from Rockstar Games at this time. Red Dead Online, the game’s multiplayer component, is now available as a separate purchase, so the fact that the core game continues to sell well shows that players still enjoy incredible single player titles, too.
Fans are asking for Red Dead Redemption 3 for years but since then, no new information about it made it’s way to surface. Maybe the launch of GTA6 might open way for Red Dead Redemption 3. For now, Red Dead Redemption fans should wait for upcoming announcements will made by Rockstar Games.
