Separate Ways is a second story content which we played with Ada Wong during Leon S. Kennedy’s rescue President’s kidnapped daughter mission. Ada Wong was not here to help Leon of course – she has to get the Las Plagas sample. She were working with Albert Wesker, which we see too much during this side story.
Will Capcom Remake Separate Ways Story As Well?
In the Resident Evil 4 Remake’s PC version, people data mined files regarding Separate Ways DLC. Mercenaries content was also found like this. So this information is most likely true. Sometimes these type of files can be left in game, even if the content is not out yet.

Capcom is probably working on this content. It’s a brand new story so they have to change some things in order to make it accurate. In the Resident Evil 4 (2005), Separate Ways explained a lot of things like how church bell ringed or how Ada know Jack Krauser is in the island and trying to kill Leon S. Kennedy.
When Will Separate Ways DLC Will Be Out?
The Mercenaries content is releasing on 7 April. Separate Ways can be released on end of 2023 or at the first months of 2024. It will be a brand new story so developers needs some time to make it best since they made stunning work in main story. New side story means new cinematics and new gameplay features. Maybe we can learn more things about Ada Wong in this content.

There was a another content which is related to Ada Wong in Resident Evil 4 (2005), which is a content named Assignment Ada. Unfortunately there is not a file or anything regarding this content. Capcom probably scrapped this content since it was not canon in the original game but maybe in the future, developers can change this idea a bit and release it as an another content.
