These management-focused elements further enhance the survival dynamics. While developer gameXcite, previously known for its Asterix & Obelix games, is now presenting a much more ambitious project.

A release date for the game hasn’t been announced yet. However, both the trailer and the Steam page confirm that the project is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space. This underscores the importance placed on the game’s development and further fuels the curiosity for fans. As new information becomes available, the universe of Across the Unknown will become clearer.
