Star Wars Zero Company Story Details Revealed

Star Wars Zero Company has made headlines again with new age ratings before its release. Developed by Bit Reactor, the turn-based tactical game had previously attracted attention with its story, which was announced to take place during the Clone Wars. However, the latest rating information suggests that the game may not be limited to this period and could address a larger transition period in the Star Wars universe.

Star Wars Zero Company May Extend to the Post-Clone Wars Era

Age ratings for Star Wars Zero Company have emerged in South Korea, Brazil, and Australia. Brazil gave the game a 14+ age rating due to violence, while South Korea gave it a 15+ rating due to realistic depictions of violence and profanity. This information suggests that the game’s tone may be a little harsher than expected.

Star Wars Zero Company Story Details Revealed

The most striking detail came from the Australian rating. The announcement stated that the game’s story begins during the Clone Wars and extends to the early days of the Galactic Empire. Until now, the game’s promotional materials only emphasized the Clone Wars era. Therefore, this new information suggests the story may have a broader timeline.

This detail also opens up interesting possibilities on the gameplay side. Players will control a customizable character named Hawks, a former Republic officer, and participate in covert operations with a special team composed of different members. If the story extends to the early days of the Empire, the team may encounter more complex missions where former allies become enemies.

This means the game could feature Clone Troopers, early Stormtrooper units, or different types of enemies newly converted to the Imperial order. While these haven’t been officially confirmed yet, the expansion of the timeline suggests that Star Wars Zero Company will not only focus on tactical missions but will also explore the dark atmosphere of the transition from Republic to Empire.

The game still doesn’t have a firm release date, but it’s expected to be released sometime in 2026. The appearance of age ratings may indicate that a significant stage has been reached in the development process. Furthermore, Bit Reactor’s “see you soon” message in a May 4th post strengthens speculation that a new announcement might be imminent. A release date for Star Wars Zero Company could be announced at upcoming events like Summer Game Fest.
