Syberia Remastered Release Date Announced

Syberia, a cult classic of the adventure genre, returns with a modern twist after over two decades. Microids’ announcement has both rekindled nostalgia and opened up the opportunity for new players to discover the series.

Syberia Remastered Coming in November

Microids announced that Syberia Remastered will launch on November 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The Quest 3 version will be released on November 13. Standard physical editions will also be available in Europe and North America, while a special collector’s edition bundle, “The Mediabook,” will be available in the UK, along with the art book.

The remastered version remains faithful to the original game, released in 2002, but has been adapted to current standards with modern touches. With enhanced 3D visuals, reimagined environments, and art direction that preserves the spirit of the original, Syberia will appeal to both longtime fans and new generations of gamers.

The gameplay also features notable improvements. Mechanical puzzles have been redesigned for a more fluid and intuitive experience. The updated interface, improved 3D navigation, and more fluid control system offer a comfortable experience for modern players while maintaining the deep story of the original.

The story centers on Kate Walker. A young New York lawyer finds herself caught up in an unexpected adventure while completing the sale of an automaton factory in the French Alps. Accompanied by a loyal automaton named Oscar, this journey leads to Hans Voralberg’s search for legendary mammoths. Syberia Remastered will once again gain traction with its emotional and captivating story.
