10th Century Iceland and Historical Relevance
“Hellblade 2” uses 10th century Iceland as its setting and the game tries to be as faithful to history as possible. However, the presence of the giants Senua will be battling raises questions about whether the game is 100% historically accurate.
Technological Advances and New Fighting System
The game’s producers state that they have “taken everything to the next level in Saga”, especially in terms of motion capture technology. The new combat system is described as “very different from the first game” and “very brutal”. Rather than being a superhero, Senua is fighting for survival, and the developer is aiming for players to feel like they’ve survived every fight.
