The open position is described as a full-time, on-site job at the development studio located in Richardson, Texas. One of the hallmarks of id Software games is their handcrafted, balanced combat mechanics. In these mechanics, a lone hero, armed with incredible weapons and abilities, battles against hordes of unique and intelligent creatures. The AI programmer must also bring these battles to life through the development and implementation of industry-leading creature behaviour, pathfinding and attacks.
