3 Secret Characters Found in Resident Evil: Survival Unit
Despite Resident Evil: Survival Unit being relatively new, the community has already begun digging into the game’s files, and the results are quite exciting. Character images of Chris Redfield, Excella Gionne, and an adult Sherry Birkin have been found in the Android version’s background data. This strongly suggests that three iconic characters, yet to be announced by Capcom, are about to join the game.
The Hidden Trio in Resident Evil: Survival Unit Revealed
Resident Evil: Survival Unit was unveiled this summer as a mobile strategy game developed by Aniplex and Joycity, and shaped in close collaboration with Capcom. Launching with 19 characters at launch, the game quickly surpassed one million downloads, and the community naturally began to delve into the game’s database.
According to the Portuguese site REvil, the game features three key character models that are currently unavailable but are already in the database: a young Chris Redfield from the RE1 era, an adult Sherry Birkin, and Excella Gionne from Resident Evil 5. Along with these images, an image of a new creature called Mortem, believed to be specifically designed for Survival Unit, has also been discovered.
This suggests the game’s live service structure. Initially unannounced characters are expected to be added to the game in future updates. The absence of one of the series’ most recognizable faces, Chris Redfield, was already surprising to players; data mining appears to have filled this gap.
Capcom describes Resident Evil: Survival Unit as a fresh, mobile-focused experience, a departure from the classic survival storyline of the main series. However, it appears they won’t hold back on adding beloved characters for series fans. It’s only a matter of time before this trio is officially announced in future updates.
