EA FC 26 World Cup Mod Release Date Announced
EA FC 26 is preparing to offer players the long-awaited international mode ahead of the big football tournament to be played this summer. The new update, called The World’s Game, aims to give players a very close experience to the World Cup atmosphere, even though it doesn’t have an official FIFA World Cup license. The release date for EA FC 26 has been announced as June 4, 2026.
EA FC 26 The World’s Game Mode is Coming
The new mode was clarified with information revealed during PlayStation’s Days of Play announcement. According to this, The World’s Game update will be accessible from within the game starting June 4th. The mode will offer players a new international tournament experience with 48 national teams. This number represents a significant increase compared to the current teams and will allow players to create their own World Cup scenarios.
Because EA doesn’t have an official tournament license, this mode won’t be a direct replica of the FIFA World Cup experience. This means the naming conventions and some tournament details may differ from the actual event. However, for those who want a playable World Cup mode, The World’s Game currently seems to be the closest option within EA FC 26.
The update will add not only national teams but also new authentic stadiums to the game. These stadiums aim to enhance the international match atmosphere. Additionally, Manager Live Challenges will feature national team-themed tasks. In Player Career mode, new international ICON and Hero content will offer players different career experiences.
For EA FC 26 players, this update could be a good reason to return to the game, especially during the summer.
