The auction will take place on January 12, 2026, and is considered a historic sale in the collecting world, a “market discovery.”

One of the biggest factors behind the sale is the timing. The fact that the Pokémon brand will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026 has heightened nostalgia and collecting interest. Logan Paul also stated that this period will significantly boost the market, describing the offer as “irresistible.” It is also known that he previously turned down a $7.5 million offer.

Along with the card, it has been announced that the specially designed diamond necklace that Logan Paul wore at WrestleMania will also be given to the new owner. Paul is expected to personally deliver the card to the winner when the sale is complete.
