Model Responds to Claims of Being the GTA 6 Cover Girl
The GTA 6 cover girl became one of the most talked-about details among gamers after Rockstar shared the new cover art. The cover features Florida-inspired locations, alligators, a Vice City vibe, and many details reflecting the game’s core atmosphere. However, social media quickly began searching for the real-life resemblance of the mysterious woman in the image. This search eventually led to speculation about Colombian DJ and producer Gabriela Chiquin.
Gabriela Chiquin Responds to GTA 6 Cover Girl Claims
Many social media users claimed that the woman on the GTA 6 cover resembled Gabriela Chiquin. Comparison images quickly spread, and the claim became a serious topic of discussion within the gaming community. Chiquin responded to these comments, albeit indirectly and humorously, via an Instagram post. In her post, she said that people were comparing her to “the brunette girl in GTA.”
However, there’s an important detail here. Gabriela Chiquin hasn’t confirmed whether the character on the cover was actually modeled after her. So, for now, we only have an allegation of resemblance and the model’s indirect reaction to it. Rockstar hasn’t made an official statement on the matter either. Frankly, the fact that even such a detail is causing such a stir in a massive game like GTA 6 shows how closely the community is following the game.
It’s also worth remembering Rockstar’s past similar controversies. During the GTA 5 era, players claimed the bikini-clad blonde character on the cover resembled several celebrities. Lindsay Lohan even sued Rockstar for unauthorized use of her likeness. While Rockstar won that case, it’s quite clear the company wouldn’t want a similar legal dispute with GTA 6.
Therefore, it seems unlikely that the cover girl was directly modeled after Chiquin, unless there’s an official agreement. A more plausible explanation is that Rockstar designed an original character, and the resulting image coincidentally resembled a real person. Nevertheless, it’s certain that these kinds of small details will be discussed even more on social media until GTA 6 is released. As the game’s November 19th release approaches, every image turns into a new theory.
