While the achievements were quickly removed, screenshots shared by players suggest a new difficulty level may be added to the classic adventure.

Hidden Achievements for Tomb Raider May Foreshadow a New Mode

A list shared on Reddit includes 15 hidden achievements labeled “TRX:CR,” most of which are based on completing levels under specific conditions. Phrases like “Complete in CR10,” “Complete without losing any HP,” and “Use pistols only” suggest that more challenging versions of existing levels will be added to the game. This suggests that a “Challenge Run” mode, which will deepen the gameplay of Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, may be in development.

While the possibility of DLC is being discussed, the structure of the achievements suggests a difficulty-focused mode arriving in a free update rather than new levels. Players note that modifications like increased enemy damage, special conditions, and timed completions will add a modern competitive feel to the game.

Some achievements also feature interesting rules, such as playing without outfit bonuses, completing levels without entering water, and defeating certain enemy types with special conditions. This strongly suggests that the mode in development will offer both a nostalgic and fresh experience.
