Tibia Gets the Crazy Boss Feature After 30 Years

Despite its nearly 30-year history, Tibia continues to grow with new content and systems. The comprehensive summer update developed by CipSoft will make the game’s most challenging boss battles more flexible, while also increasing exploration, equipment development, and combat variety. At the heart of the update is the Make Believe system, which allows players to set the difficulty of an encounter according to their own faction.

Tibia Lets Players Set the Difficulty Level with New Boss System

The new Make Believe system will allow players to set the difficulty level of one of the game’s most challenging boss encounters. The quest involves a mysterious character who has declared himself a prophet, and his journey to a bright cloud palace rising above the western sea. Here, players will fight corrupted followers guarding their path to reach the boss encounter.

Groups will be able to choose their desired difficulty level before starting a battle, unlocking higher levels as they succeed. As the difficulty increases, the rewards will become more valuable. New Moonsilver equipment, considered among the most powerful options in the game, will be available through the system. This will allow the same encounter to be replayed for groups of different power levels.

The summer update will also add new events called Echo Raids. Some enemies encountered by players will transform into echoes, triggering additional challenges. These unexpected events will allow players to face stronger opponents and earn more valuable rewards. Tibia will also gain a practice mode for the first time, and the weapon proficiency system will be improved with various adjustments.

The new Discovery System will reward players who explore the map in detail. Completing exploration objectives in a specific area will unlock speed-based advantages. The more players explore the world, the faster their characters will be able to move. With new boss battles, Echo Raids, outfits, and items to discover, the update shows that Tibia is still capable of making significant changes as it approaches its 30th anniversary.
