NVIDIA Announces Record Quarterly Growth

NVIDIA announced on February 25th that it generated $68.1 billion in revenue in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026. This represents a 20% increase compared to the previous quarter and a 73% increase compared to the same period last year. The company’s total annual revenue reached $215.9 billion, indicating a 65% year-on-year growth. The scale is no longer just “big,” but at a level that will change the balance of the sector.

Data Center Revenue Peaks at NVIDIA

The main engine of growth was again the data center side. Quarterly data center revenue reached a record high of $62.3 billion. This item represents a 22% increase compared to the previous quarter and a 75% increase compared to last year. The company attributes this leap to the transformation in accelerated computing and artificial intelligence platforms. Annual data center revenue reached $193.7 billion, registering a 68% growth.

NVIDIA Announces Record Quarterly Growth

There’s also an increase in gaming revenue year-on-year. Fourth-quarter gaming revenue was announced at $3.7 billion, representing a 47% increase compared to last year. However, when viewed on a quarterly basis, there’s a 13% decrease in gaming and AI PC revenue. This decline is attributed to the normalization of inventories after a strong holiday season.

A noteworthy point is the change in NVIDIA’s revenue composition. While gaming was the company’s largest source of revenue in 2020, today data centers account for approximately 90% of total revenue. This shows that NVIDIA has become more of an AI infrastructure giant than just a graphics card manufacturer.

The increased demand created by AI investments is also bringing about global supply pressures on the hardware side. It’s being discussed that this situation could indirectly affect planning for console and PC hardware. This record quarter announced by NVIDIA clearly shows where the industry is evolving.
