Fortnite continues to be in the spotlight with its 2026 collaborations, and this time it’s attracting attention with one of the most popular names in the music world. The Olivia Rodrigo costume, which has been rumored for a long time, has now been officially confirmed. The famous singer showed the first glimpse of her costume in Fortnite with a short video she shared on her Instagram story. This largely clarifies what the mysterious clues Epic Games has been adding to the game recently were hinting at.

Epic Games likes to hint at collaborations with small in-game details before official announcements. Recently added to the Fortnite map, the pink swing tree and the knife stuck in its trunk did not escape the attention of Olivia Rodrigo fans. These details were thought to be a reference to the visual world in the artist’s latest album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.

Rodrigo’s five-second Instagram story almost confirmed these predictions. The video shows the artist playing Fortnite on iOS. While most of the footage focuses on Rodrigo, the final section features a brief moment where her character glides across the map. The costume seen in this scene appears to be inspired by the outfit on the singer’s new album cover.

The costume, with its pink mini dress, white Peter Pan collar, matching cuffs, and buttoned front design, evokes a retro diner or soda-fountain worker aesthetic. However, the absence of the classic apron detail makes the look more stage-focused and stylized. This design also seems to align with Olivia Rodrigo’s nostalgic yet sharp pop-rock identity in her album visuals.

According to leaks, the Olivia Rodrigo costume will be added to the game as part of Fortnite Festival Season 15. The current season is expected to end on July 29, 2026. It’s rumored that the cosmetic pack will be released as part of the Icon Series and may include the full costume along with a back bling, emote, pickaxe, and spray.

Olivia Rodrigo’s connection to Fortnite isn’t actually new. Previously, the songs Vampire, Get Him Back, and Good 4 U were featured as jam tracks in the Fortnite Festival mode. Therefore, the new skin seems like a fitting step in Epic Games’ plan to expand Fortnite beyond just a battle royale game, becoming a platform for music and pop culture.
