The studio shared an image of the “Please Stand By” screen seen in classic Fallout games, implying a connection to their ongoing project. The timing is significant; the Fallout brand has reached a wider audience again thanks to the TV series.
Rumors of remasters for Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas have surfaced before, with some insiders even suggesting that a New Vegas project was indeed on the table. The announcement and rapid release of Oblivion Remastered further fueled speculation that Bethesda might employ a similar strategy for Fallout.
