THQ Nordic is Bringing Many of its Games to Nintendo Switch

THQ Nordic is preparing to strengthen its position on the Nintendo side. With the announcement, it’s clear that several of the company’s games will be coming to both the current Nintendo Switch family and the Switch 2. The selection of family-friendly and widely appealing titles makes this move quite logical.

Which Games Are THQ Nordic Bringing to Switch?

According to the information released, Destroy All Humans!, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, and Disney’s Epic Mickey: Rebrushed are coming to Nintendo Switch 2. The fact that these games were previously available on the first Switch suggests that THQ Nordic wants to re-establish its catalog on the new generation Nintendo device. So this isn’t just a simple port; it’s also a move to establish a presence on the new platform.

Another noteworthy title is SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide. This time, the game was announced for the first time on the Nintendo Switch. The fact that this title, previously released on the next-generation console, will now reach a wider user base is quite natural, especially considering the brand’s audience. The Switch still has a very large player base and offers a strong niche for this type of game.

In fact, this aligns with Nintendo’s recent overall approach. The Switch 2 library is currently largely growing with third-party games and updated versions. Therefore, support from publishers like THQ Nordic is crucial in the console’s early stages. For players, this means more options on the new hardware.

THQ Nordic doesn’t want to leave Nintendo alone. This move for both the Switch and Switch 2 clearly demonstrates the company’s desire to reach a wider player base. It wouldn’t be surprising to see more similar announcements in the coming period.
