Valve’s New Single Player Game: HLX
Valve’s next-gen single-player game codenamed ‘HLX’ has surfaced in data reviews. Rumor has it that this game could be the long-awaited Half-Life 3.
Valve’s next single-player game could be HLX
Half-Life 3 news came to the fore with the leak of HLX with references to “Project White Sands” voiced by Natasha Chandel. The “White Sands” reference, “White Sands is a park in New Mexico. The state where Black Mesa is” is interpreted as an allusion to Half-Life 3.
Data reviewer Tyler McVicker shared details of Valve’s game, codenamed HLX, which he described as a new non-VR single-player game. In the game, we’re told that we’re controlling a character in an HEV suit, which is unlikely to be none other than Gordon Freeman. This will be the first game in the Half-Life series after the VR game Alyx.
It’s no secret that Alyx was a huge success and was praised by fans. However, the arrival of Half-Life 3 seems to add to the excitement.
Reddit users were not indifferent to these leaks. “These are the kind of leaks that are always fun, a legitimate first-hand source unfiltered by an influencer trying to create uncertainty for engagement,” one user commented. Another commented, “A voice actor who has probably never heard of Steam nonchalantly says he’s working on Half Life 3.”
