We Are Now Much Closer to the Announcement of Assassin’s Creed Hexe

Assassin’s Creed Hexe has resurfaced after a long period of silence. According to a source who has previously shared accurate information about Ubisoft projects, the game’s official announcement may be imminent. A hidden structure discovered in Black Flag Resynced is considered a possible clue that strengthens this claim. However, Ubisoft has not yet made any announcements regarding the schedule or gameplay details.

Hidden Clues for Assassin’s Creed Hexe May Have Been Found

According to the claim, a cathedral hidden in Black Flag Resynced could be a pre-placed hint for Assassin’s Creed Hexe. Players have reportedly compared the structure to a real church in Nuremberg. Considering previous rumors that Hexe will be set during the witch trials period in Germany, this similarity could be more than just a casual reference.

The same source also shared new details regarding the game’s parkour system. It’s suggested that Assassin’s Creed Hexe will combine movement mechanics from the pre-classic role-playing era with some mechanics from Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Players will be able to utilize double-jump and swinging movements during exploration and escape. This information has not yet been confirmed by Ubisoft.

It’s also claimed that the project’s development process hasn’t been entirely smooth. The creative director and game director of Assassin’s Creed Hexe reportedly left the team at short intervals, followed by the withdrawal of approximately 50 developers as part of cost-cutting efforts. These changes are seen as significant risks that could affect the game’s planned scope and release schedule.

While Ubisoft is reportedly aiming for a June 2027 release, the company hasn’t yet announced a specific release window. Expected to take a different direction in the series with its new protagonist, horror-heavy atmosphere, and witch trials theme, the game won’t have the added advantage of a ready-made nostalgia element. Therefore, the success of Assassin’s Creed Hexe will largely depend on how strongly the storytelling and new gameplay ideas are implemented.
