Xbox Game Pass August 2026 Five Games Already Announced
Xbox Game Pass has already created an impressive schedule with its first games to be added to its library in August. While Microsoft hasn’t yet announced the full list for the month, five titles are confirmed to be coming to the service. Beast of Reincarnation and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy are particularly noted as the biggest launches of the month. More games are expected to be added to the list in the coming weeks.
Xbox Game Pass August 2026 Games Announced
Here are the games and platforms confirmed to be added to Xbox Game Pass in August:
- Beast of Reincarnation – Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud – August 4
- Monsters Are Coming! – Xbox Series X|S – August 6
- Sandustry – PC – August 13
- Grave Seasons – Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud – August 14
- Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy – Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud – August 27
The first major game on the list, Beast of Reincarnation, will be an action role-playing game that combines real-time and turn-based combat. Developed by Game Freak, it centers on Emma and her dog Koo’s arduous journey. Monsters Are Coming!, on the other hand, will offer a different experience with tower defense and roguelite elements, focusing on protecting a moving city against waves of enemies.
Sandustry, coming exclusively to PC players, focuses on establishing mining and production chains in fully destructible worlds. Players will automate resources, delve deep underground, and investigate the secrets of an ancient civilization. Grave Seasons combines farming simulation with a dark mystery. Players will be engaged in farming while trying to uncover the identity of a supernatural serial killer roaming the town.
The last major game of the month will be Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Set before the award-winning A Plague Tale series, the game puts you in control of Sophia as you battle dangerous enemies on Minotaur Island. These five announced games are just the beginning of the Xbox Game Pass August schedule. Microsoft is expected to announce new titles and surprise additions as the month progresses.
