Arc Raiders will not tolerate cheaters
Arc Raiders has been rocked by cheating allegations in recent days, and the expected statement from the development team has arrived. The problems, openly voiced by streamers and players, had created significant unrest within the community. This time, Arc Raiders hasn’t remained silent and has announced a clear stance against cheaters.
New Anti-Cheat Move for Arc Raiders
Arc Raiders developer Embark Studios confirmed in a statement on the game’s official Discord channel that they are taking the cheating issue very seriously. Community manager Ossen emphasized that feedback is not only being listened to but also actively translated into action. The goal is to contain the problem before it escalates.
According to shared information, significant changes will be made to the ruleset in Arc Raiders. In addition, new detection mechanisms aimed at identifying cheaters at an earlier stage will be implemented. Specifically, exploits such as going off-map will be patched with client-side fixes.
The development team is also preparing special measures for streamers. Adding new tools to reduce stream sniping aims to protect the experience of both content creators and viewers. However, there is no clear detail yet on whether ban durations will be permanent.
Community reaction played a major role in taking these steps. Even Shroud, one of the game’s most well-known supporters, openly stated that he would even consider quitting the game if the cheating problem wasn’t solved. Furthermore, the temporary cancellation of a recently held event due to cheating exploits highlighted the extent of the problem.
All these developments mark a critical turning point for Arc Raiders. This first major step taken by Embark Studios will be decisive for the long-term health of the game. The community is now clear: they do not want cheaters to be tolerated in Arc Raiders.
